Hourly Pay Range:

$28.00 - $43.40 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

  • Sign on bonus: $5,000
  • Position: X-Ray Technologist- ABUS Tech
  • Location: Gurnee, IL
  • Full Time/Part Time: Part-Time (20 hrs/wk)  
  • Hours: Day shift, Monday-Friday
  • Required Travel: Travel to other sites required  

What you will do:

  • Prepare patients for exam: obtain and record history, explain procedures, position patients and ensure their comfort
  • Perform ABUS exam
  • Verify orders are placed correctly
  • Review imaging to ensure optimum quality
  • Complete and submit information and images to RIS in a timely manner

What you will need:

  • Education: Certificate or Associate’s degree from an accredited radiology program
  • License: IEMA licensing required
  • Certification: CPR certification required. ARRT registry eligible required within 1 year of employment
  • Experience: Previous radiology experience preferred
  • Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills required
