We’re looking for a React Native Engineer to join our team.
Who you are
You are a passionate and driven React Native engineer who thrives in the mobile development landscape. You have a solid grasp of both JavaScript and native mobile development principles, allowing you to create seamless cross-platform experiences. You understand the nuances of iOS and Android platforms and can effectively bridge the gap between them. You write clean, maintainable code and prioritize performance and user experience through collaboration with designers and other engineers.
What you will be doing
- Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality cross-platform mobile applications using React Native.
- Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers to implement engaging and intuitive mobile interfaces.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using modern React Native, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Write unit and integration tests to ensure application stability.
- Participate in code reviews for teammates.
- Debug and resolve bugs and performance issues on both iOS and Android platforms.
- Contribute to technically ambitious projects, ensuring timely delivery.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest React Native technologies and mobile development trends.

What you bring to the table
- At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in mobile application development, with a focus on React Native.
- Strong understanding of JavaScript fundamentals.
- Strong experience with React and React Native.
- Strong experience with building and deploying mobile applications on both iOS and Android platforms.
- Familiarity with native mobile development concepts and tools (Xcode, Android Studio).
- Work samples demonstrating well-structured, performant, and user-friendly mobile applications.
- Solid understanding of mobile UI/UX principles.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to present technical solutions clearly.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging abilities.
- Experience working in an agile development environment.
- A passion for mobile development and a desire to learn and grow.
Bonus points if you...
- Have experience with native iOS (Swift/Objective-C) or Android (Kotlin/Java) development.
- Have experience with CI/CD pipelines for mobile app deployments.
- Have published apps on the App Store or Google Play Store.
- Have contributed to open-source projects related to React Native.
- Have experience with other cross-platform mobile development frameworks (Flutter, Ionic).
- Enjoy speaking, writing, or educating publicly about mobile development topics.

Our hiring process moves quickly and consists of several stages for candidates who capture our attention with their initial submission, sometimes including but not limited to a short preliminary phone interview, a series of video interviews, and a short take-home exercise which you'll have up to a week to complete.
Compensation is $120,000 - $150,000 a year.
