Position Summary

Reporting to the Lead Executive Assistant and Office Manager, the Receptionist is responsible for providing a range of administrative and operational support at Tyree & D'Angelo Partners. This is a very attractive role with the opportunity to interact with office visitors and will have high visibility to other employees of the firm.

Job Responsibilities

  • Open and/or close office daily
  • Maintain front desk and greet visitors in a positive, enthusiastic, and professional manner
  • Track upcoming meetings and set up meeting room with necessary stationery and equipment
  • Answer and screen inbound calls on multi-line phones in a timely and polite manner
  • Take and deliver messages accurately and completely
  • Distribute incoming mail, prepare and send outgoing mail, arrange couriers, and unpack deliveries
  • Monitor office and break room inventory, placing supply orders when necessary
  • Maintain office equipment
  • Keep office clean, stocked, and organized
  • Ad hoc projects

Required Criteria (100% must be met for consideration)

  • Previous experience in customer service settings
  • Excellent organization and communication skills
  • Professional demeanor
  • Ability to sit for extended periods and lift 50 lbs.
  • Schedule: must be able to work mornings, M-F from 7am-12pm in the TDP Office in downtown Chicago
