Job Description

Compensation: $1,200 US Dollars per month 

Work Schedule: Wednesday–Sunday, 5:00 PM – 2:00 AM, Eastern Time (ET) 

This is a Virtual Assistant position as an independent contractor. Paid time off and healthcare benefits are not provided. 

Role Overview 

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will support high-volume recruiting operations, with a primary focus on improving candidate processing speed, particularly for late-week and after-hours applicants. This role is designed to maintain recruiting momentum, enhance candidate experience, and ensure timely movement through the hiring pipeline. 

This position follows a Wednesday–Sunday, 5:00 PM – 2:00 AM (ET) to capture applicant activity outside of traditional business hours and support recruiter readiness for the following day.  

Key Responsibilities 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Previous experience supporting U.S.-based recruiting.  

  • Experience in high-volume recruiting, recruiting coordination, or talent acquisition operations.  

  • Experience in using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS), preferably SmartRecruiters.  

  • Experience communicating with candidates via email, phone, and SMS throughout the hiring process.  

  • Experience coordinating and scheduling interviews across multiple hiring teams.  

  • Ability to effectively screen resumes and assess candidates against minimum qualifications.  

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, metric-driven recruiting environment.  

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.  

  • Previous experience working remotely with minimal supervision.  

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is strongly preferred.  

Key Responsibilities 

  • Process high volumes of applicants, with emphasis on late-week and after-hours submissions. 

  • Conduct resume screening and initial qualification checks based on minimum role criteria. 

  • Advance qualified candidates and disposition unqualified applicants promptly in accordance with hiring guidelines. 

  • Maintain an efficient recruiting pipeline by moving candidates through each stage of the hiring process in a timely manner. 

  • Prepare candidate summaries and support documentation for recruiter review for the following working day. 

  • Ensure accurate and organized tracking of candidate progress within the Applicant Tracking System (SmartRecruiters). 

  • Communicate professionally with candidates via email, phone, and SMS throughout the hiring process, ensuring timely updates and positive candidate experience. 

  • Coordinate and schedule interviews across recruiting teams, with a goal of scheduling within one business day whenever possible. 

  • Assist with general recruiting efforts across multiple roles as needed. 

  • Provide operational support to the Recruiting Manager to improve daily workflow efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Fluent in both English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate professionally with candidates, hiring managers, and internal stakeholders in both languages. 

  • Experience in high-volume recruiting, recruiting coordination, or recruiting operations support. 

  • Strong ability to screen candidates against minimum qualifications quickly and accurately. 

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail. 

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. 

  • Strong communication, scheduling, and coordination skills. 

  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment. 

  • Comfortable working Wednesday–Sunday, 5:00 PM – 2:00 AM schedule, Eastern Time (ET).
