Position Summary

Zencastr is seeking a Full Cycle Recruiter to lead end-to-end hiring across technical and business functions. Reporting to the People Operations Lead, this role will partner closely with hiring managers to attract, assess, and hire exceptional talent while delivering an outstanding candidate experience.

The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, and thrives in a fast-paced startup environment. This person is an exceptional talent partner who can build strong relationships, manage multiple searches simultaneously, and identify creative ways to attract top talent in competitive markets.

Key ResponsibilitiesFull Cycle Recruiting
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from intake through offer acceptance across technical and non-technical roles.

  • Partner with hiring managers to define hiring needs, interview processes, scorecards, and candidate profiles.

  • Develop sourcing strategies to build diverse, high-quality candidate pipelines.

  • Source passive candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, networking, referrals, and other sourcing channels.

  • Screen candidates to assess technical qualifications, experience, and cultural alignment.

  • Coordinate interview schedules and ensure a seamless experience for candidates and interview teams.

  • Facilitate interview debriefs and guide hiring managers through structured hiring decisions.

  • Prepare and present offers, manage negotiations, and support candidates through acceptance.

Recruiting Operations
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and hiring activity within the applicant tracking system.

  • Monitor recruiting metrics including pipeline health, time-to-fill, source effectiveness, and offer acceptance rates.

  • Ensure interview feedback is submitted promptly and hiring processes remain organized and compliant.

  • Draft and maintain job descriptions, interview guides, scorecards, and recruiting documentation.

  • Support onboarding handoffs to People Operations following accepted offers.

Talent Strategy & Employer Brand
  • Partner with leadership to proactively identify future hiring needs and workforce planning priorities.

  • Recommend improvements to recruiting processes that increase efficiency, consistency, and candidate quality.

  • Help strengthen Zencastr's employer brand through thoughtful candidate communication and engagement.

  • Support employee referral initiatives and other talent attraction programs.

  • Stay informed on market trends, compensation benchmarks, and recruiting best practices.

Candidate Experience
  • Deliver an exceptional candidate experience through timely communication, transparency, and professionalism.

  • Build trusted relationships with candidates throughout the interview process.

  • Represent Zencastr's culture and values throughout every stage of recruitment.

  • Ensure candidates receive timely updates and thoughtful feedback whenever possible.

Qualifications
  • 4-7+ years of full cycle recruiting experience, preferably within SaaS, technology, or startup environments.

  • Demonstrated success recruiting technical roles including Software Engineering, Product, Infrastructure, and Data, along with business functions such as Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, and People Operations.

  • Strong sourcing experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and other outbound recruiting tools.

  • Experience partnering directly with hiring managers and executive leaders.

  • Excellent interviewing, candidate assessment, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.

  • Experience with applicant tracking systems such as Ashby, Greenhouse, Lever, or similar platforms.

  • Comfortable managing multiple concurrent searches while maintaining a high-quality candidate experience.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and operate effectively in a fast-paced startup environment.
