About the Role

Platform Science is seeking a strategic, customer-focused Regional Account Manager to join our growing Mid-Market Accounts team.

In this role, you'll serve as the primary trusted advisor for a portfolio of regional fleet customers, helping them maximize the value of the Platform Science ecosystem while driving long-term customer success.

You'll own the customer relationship throughout the lifecycle—from adoption and business reviews to renewals, expansion opportunities, and executive engagement. Working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, Support, and Implementation teams, you'll advocate for customer needs while helping shape the future of our platform.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced account manager who enjoys building executive relationships, solving complex business challenges, and helping customers transform their operations through technology.

What You'll DoManage Strategic Customer Relationships
  • Develop trusted relationships with executive and operational stakeholders across assigned accounts.
  • Understand customer business goals, operational challenges, and long-term technology strategies.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the customer lifecycle.
Drive Customer Success & Platform Adoption
  • Help customers maximize adoption of Platform Science solutions and applications.
  • Lead regular business reviews focused on measurable outcomes and ROI.
  • Ensure customers realize ongoing value from their investment.
Grow Existing Accounts
  • Proactively monitor account health and mitigate renewal risks.
  • Identify expansion opportunities through upselling, cross-selling, and additional platform capabilities.
  • Partner with Sales on commercial strategies that support customer growth.
Advocate for the Customer
  • Represent customer feedback internally.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Support, and Implementation teams to improve the customer experience.
  • Help influence future platform enhancements based on customer needs.
What We're Looking ForRequired Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in Account Management, Customer Success, Strategic Account Management, or Enterprise SaaS Sales.
  • Experience managing mid-market or enterprise customer relationships.
  • Proven success driving customer retention, renewals, and account growth.
  • Comfortable presenting to executive stakeholders and leading strategic customer conversations.
Preferred Experience
  • Transportation, logistics, fleet management, telematics, or commercial vehicle technology.
  • SaaS or IoT software platforms.
  • Transportation Management Systems (TMS), fleet management software, or telematics solutions.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Logistics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Base Salary Range: $115,000 – $122,000

Actual compensation is based on factors such as experience, skills, location, certifications, and market conditions. This position may also be eligible for annual bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits.
