Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute regional marketing plans aligned with global business priorities and regional commercial goals.
  • Lead segment-tailored demand generation campaigns across digital, email, events, and sales enablement channels.
  • Partner closely with sales leadership to identify growth opportunities, support pipeline development, and improve lead follow-up and conversion.
  • Own regional event strategy, including conferences, tradeshows, seminars, roadshows, customer workshops, live events and partner activities.
  • Localize global campaigns, product launches, messaging, and content for regional markets and customer segments.
  • Collaborate with product marketing and business units to support growth across GenScript’s product and service portfolios.

  • Manage regional marketing budget, vendors, agencies, and cross-functional execution.
  • Lead and develop regional marketing team members as applicable.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of B2B marketing experience, preferably in life sciences, biotechnology, pharmaceutical services, CRO/CDMO, laboratory products, or scientific services.
  • 3+ years of experience in regional marketing, field marketing, demand generation, or commercial marketing leadership.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute integrated campaigns that generate qualified leads and measurable business impact.
  • Strong experience with sales alignment, funnel management, events, campaign analytics, and performance reporting.
  • Ability to translate complex scientific or technical offerings into clear customer value propositions.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, project management, and leadership skills.
  • Experience working in a global, matrixed organization preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in life sciences, business, or marketing.
  • Experience marketing to pharma, biotech, academia, government, CROs, or translational research customers.
  • Familiarity with areas such as gene synthesis, molecular biology, protein expression, antibodies, peptides, mRNA, CRISPR, cell and gene therapy, instruments, or AI-driven drug discovery.
  • Experience with CRM, Power BI, Tableau, or related reporting tools.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a strategic, data-driven, and customer-focused marketing leader who understands the life sciences market and knows how to turn regional insights into impactful marketing programs. They are equally comfortable building plans, aligning with sales, managing campaigns, analyzing results, and leading execution in a fast-paced global environment.
