Job Description:

The Regional Vice President of Sales is a dedicated leader and innovator that manages a high performing sales team across a multi-state division. This role plays an integral part in accelerating the growth of Cambria and driving new sales opportunities across the industry. The key to success in this role is the cross collaboration with operations and winning together as a team. This individual is a fierce competitor as well as a team player who excels in leading, collaborating, coaching and communicating. 

Roles & Responsibilities:

Drive Cambria sales by motivating, influencing & leading high-performing sales team 

  • Effectively manage 5-10 direct reports comprised of District Managers and 25+ indirect reports

  • Establish a sales driven culture by setting clear and measurable sales goals

  • Ensure effective partnerships are developed, cultivated and maintained to drive sales 

  • Effectively communicate and implement new processes and ideas while being an advocate for innovation and change

  • Provide ongoing feedback and education (as needed by each employee) to optimize their best selling skills and performance

  • Establish one on ones, team meetings, and set clear expectations to create a transparent and accountable team culture

  • Complete performance reviews and manage any performance issues that arise

  • Ensure market development to maximize sales within the assigned Divisions. Develop quarterly and annual territory sales plans to direct efforts and calibrate progress

  • Review and give feedback on quarterly and annual territory sales plans developed by DMs for their districts 

Drive Cambria sales by building and cultivating solid relationships

  • Grow business partner relationships throughout the territory for both residential and commercial accounts by cultivating relationships in the markets directly

  • Maintain a superior level of business, financial and industry expertise so you can advise ownership-level partners effectively in ways that benefit both their business and Cambria

  • Work closely and collaborate with the operational leadership team at the Cambria-Owned Distribution Centers and FabShops in the assigned region, if applicable

  • Maintain a professional, high level of contact with key partners, industry associations, retailers, etc. 

Drive Cambria sales by developing and driving strategies and initiatives that enable business growth

  • Oversee the development and implementation of sales strategies in the markets while executing an excellent sales process to support team sales goals

  • Maintain strong knowledge of the supported markets to develop and implement strategic plans to capture maximum market share

  • Initiate cross–functional support of high priority initiatives and help remove roadblocks

  • Calibrate and collaborate with department and company leadership on initiatives and tools that can help to build and grow business across all Divisions

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience in B2B and building material sales is required

  • Previous management experience required, including feedback, managing performance and development

  • Expertise in presenting to senior and executive leaders

  • Effective strategy development and implementation experience while building sales opportunities across divisions

  • Able to energetically and positively lead, motivate and influence a team

  • Excellent critical thinking and problem solving

  • Superior collaboration skills across functions

  • Strong business knowledge and financial acumen

  • Strong emotional intelligence and professional demeanor

  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

  • Results orientated, self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset

  • Demonstrates professionalism, integrity, and fiscal responsibility

Minimum Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree Preferred in Business or Related Field, Masters     Degree is a Plus

Experience: Minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience in the sales industry and minimum of 10 years of managing employees, ideally in building/design

Systems: Proficient in Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google (Docs, Sheets, Slides) suites of software, Concur and Salesforce preferred.

Managerial Requirements: Yes

Travel Requirements: 80% local travel to customers. Other travel may include trade shows, associations and trips to Minnesota for training. Must have the ability to work extended hours, evenings, overnights and weekends. 

  • Must hold a valid Driver’s License.

  • Must be able to successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check in accordance with Cambria's standards..

Physical Requirements: This is an office position requiring phone and computer use. Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds for displays, samples and other marketing materials that may be needed for events.

Cambria’s starting salary range for this position is $157,000 - $201,000. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the target for new hires for the position. Individual pay is determined by several factors, including work location, job-related experience, and relevant education and/or training.
