The Registration and Records Specialist provides administrative, communication, and organizational support within the Testing Center of the University Registrar's office. This position serves as a customer service point of contact for the office phone line and email accounts. Position will triage immediate customer issues and/or route to appropriate department or campus office. Will create, maintain and update reference and resource materials. Greets students, visitors and faculty and directs them when they arrive at the Testing Center. This position is responsible for ensuring the security of test materials and the integrity of the testing process. Facilitates the administration of paper and computer based examinations for candidates and provides necessary instruction on testing policies and procedures, security measures, and score reporting. Acts as a proctor and monitors testing. Schedules appointments via phone and provides information on cancellation and rescheduling policies. Sends standard confirmation email to registered examinees. Ensures that examinees are always proctored and that materials are neither taken into nor out of the testing center. Maintains accurate, orderly, and secure examination files.
Education/Experience
Required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Desired: 1-2 years of relevant experience is preferred. Strong attention to detail, customer service skills and database management desired.
Additional Information:The target hiring rate for this position is $18.37/hr. This is an 18 month term position.
