  • Stay informed about current developments throughout the NFL and NBA seasons

You should be able to follow a fast-moving NFL and NBA conversations without needing to research basic context.

  • Monitor and moderate live engagement across digital platforms during NFL, NBA, and other sporting events

  • Engage with German-speaking fans in real time using the appropriate brand voice and tone

  • Respond naturally to fan comments, reactions, questions, and conversations

  • Foster positive, inclusive, and engaging online communities

  • Identify, escalate, and manage inappropriate or policy-violating content

  • Adapt messaging style based on event context, audience sentiment, and brand guidelines

  • Maintain accuracy, speed, and consistency during high-volume engagement periods

  • Stay current on relevant sports news and developments

What We Are Looking For:

  • Native-level fluency in German (written and reading comprehension required)

  • Strong written communication skills with excellent grammar and spelling

  • Prior experience in social media moderation, community management, or digital engagement

  • Ability to adapt quickly to different brand voices and communication styles

  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, live-event environments

  • Comfortable with client-facing communication

  • Strong interest in sports

  • Knowledge of both American football and basketball

  • Experience moderating live sports or entertainment events

Workspace Requirements:

  • A dedicated laptop or desktop

  • Minimum of 8 GB RAM

  • Reliable internet connection

  • Willingness to install ModSquad security software and enable two-factor authentication on both your device and mobile phone

  • Individual events generally require approximately 3-5 hours of coverage

  • Weekend and evening availability is required

Candidates should have flexibility around live-game schedules and understand that available hours may fluctuate throughout the season.

Orientation will begin upon onboarding.
