The Compliance and Reporting Manager will play a critical role within the Global HR Operations team, driving HR compliance programs and workforce reporting frameworks that support public company standards. This role focuses on establishing scalable compliance protocols, ensuring global regulatory adherence, and delivering workforce analytics aligned with IPO and ESG disclosure expectations. The ideal candidate brings deep compliance experience and thrives in fast-paced, transformational environments.
Key Responsibilities
HR Compliance & Regulatory Readiness
- Develop and manage global HR compliance programs in alignment with labor laws, pay equity standards, data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), and IPO readiness expectations.
- Own SOX-compliant HR process documentation for hiring, onboarding, compensation, and benefits.
- Lead HR’s audit readiness efforts, coordinating with Legal, Internal Audit, and Finance.
- Create frameworks to track and manage employee-related regulatory obligations across all jurisdictions.
Workforce Reporting & Analytics
- Develop standard HR reporting templates to support IPO-level reporting (e.g., DEI metrics, workforce composition, turnover trends).
- Collaborate with People Analytics to align HR data with ESG, EEO, and SEC human capital disclosure requirements.
- Automate recurring compliance reporting and ensure data integrity across HR systems (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors).
Policy Governance & Process Standardization
- Drive consistency in HR policies, ensuring global alignment and proper documentation across all regions.
- Partner with HRBPs to implement controls around employment policies, employee relations practices, and compliance training.
- Own the policy lifecycle including drafting, stakeholder review, rollout, and version control.
Risk & Audit Partnership
- Partner with Global Legal and Risk teams to assess and mitigate compliance risk tied to employment law, workplace investigations, and data governance.
- Serve as HR’s lead for internal and external audits related to employment practices and HR operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Law, or related field. Compliance certifications (e.g., CCEP, PHR/SPHR, SHRM-CP/SCP) are a plus.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in HR compliance, HR operations, or human capital reporting.
- Experience supporting IPO processes or operating in a public company environment.
- Expertise in U.S. and global employment law and regulatory frameworks.
- Proficiency in HRIS and data platforms (Workday, SAP, Power BI, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail, project management skills, and ability to operate cross-functionally.
