The Lead Clinical Research Associate oversees clinical trial sites, ensuring compliance with regulations and protocols while mentoring CRAs and collaborating with teams to execute trials effectively.
We are seeking a curious and tech savvy team player to manage the day-to-day activities in managing vibrant online communities of customer insights. You have strong communication skills and are detail oriented. You thrive on variety, problem solving and getting things done. You like to dig beneath the surface and understand the context in which consumers have formed their opinion or made their decisions. You enjoy engaging with diverse groups of people and have the ability to adapt your communication style accordingly.
You will learn and use our proprietary cloud-based research platform QuestIC. This role entails working on projects for Fortune 500 companies in North America, across a wide spectrum of sectors, including Tech, Retail, Packaged Goods, Entertainment, and Financial Services. This is either a remote role or a hybrid role, working from one of our HUB offices in NYC or Chicago.
Responsibilities:
- Cultivate relationships with our clients’ most important customers by creating engaging environments, developing audience expertise, earning their trust, advocating for their needs and supporting a range of research and community building activities
- Manage and execute online research projects of varying complexity, ensuring high-quality outcomes. This includes:
- Lead internal kickoff calls to define parameters, requirements, and timelines
- Oversee all phases of multiple projects, driving timely deliverables and proactively address risks, performing quality assurance through standardized checkpoints, and resolving issues through collaboration
- Conduct project management including, liaise with the programming team (for complex studies) and answering questions about specific programming needs; reviewing test links and ensure they’re working correctly; monitoring study in field to ensure quotas are met; opening quotas when needed so other targets can be hit.
- Using our Harris Quest platform and other tools, platforms, monitor and report on progress throughout the life of a project to ensure deliverables, budgets and timelines are met and risks/issues are proactively addressed
- Build relationships with community members to create broader understanding of their thoughts, opinions and emotions for our team and clients; create and execute engagement activities in conjunction with the research plan
- Lead community health tracking to optimize participation and vibrancy communications with clients
- Develop audience expertise by highlighting trends, opinions and feedback from members that adds to client or team learning
- Ensure member emails/inquiries are supported; advocate for your members (e.g., by creating a FAQ for operations)
- Demonstrate creativity, time management and excellent communication skill in managing several projects simultaneously (at various stages of the project life cycle)
- Problem-solve when issues arise using tools available and a collaborative, team approach
- Keep track of all project details and updates
Experience & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Prior internship/professional or related experience a plus
- Strong project management and detail-oriented skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks at any one time within tight timelines. Ability to ask for help when needed.
- High level of customer service or account management with internal and external customers, including poise and professionalism working with senior clients
- Proficiency with the Internet and MS Office applications, particularly Excel
- Ability to proactively work to avoid and address challenges, problem-solve with expertise in troubleshooting and creating solutions
- Strong communicator - clearly and confidently verbally and in writing
