Advanced Agrilytics is seeking an experienced and highly organized RFV Operations Manager to lead the end-to-end execution of our RFV program from signed customer agreement through final report delivery and invoicing. This individual will be the operational owner of RFV delivery, creating urgency, visibility, and accountability across the workflow while ensuring a high-quality customer experience.

The RFV Operations Manager serves as the central point of coordination among Sales, customers, soil sampling resources, data and technical teams, report production, quality control, and Finance. The right candidate is a hands-on leader who anticipates obstacles, communicates proactively, makes sound tradeoffs, and consistently delivers on commitments.

Success in this Role:

RFV work moves predictably from contract to customer delivery, at the expected quality, with clear ownership, timely communication, and prompt invoice readiness.

End-to-End RFV Delivery Ownership

  • Own the RFV delivery lifecycle from contract handoff through onboarding, data collection, soil sampling, report production, quality control, invoice readiness, and final customer delivery.
  •  Build and maintain project plans, milestones, dependencies, customer commitments, and delivery dates for the active RFV portfolio.
  • Monitor work in process, identify risks and bottlenecks early, and take corrective action before commitments are missed.
  •  Create clear operating rhythms, priorities, and escalation paths that keep work moving with an appropriate sense of urgency.

Customer Onboarding & Communication

  • Coordinate priorities and handoffs across Sales, soil sampling, data operations, agronomy or technical resources, report builders, quality control, and Finance.
  • Lead through influence and direct accountability, ensuring each contributor understands the priority, required output, and due date.
  • Facilitate concise operating reviews focused on exceptions, decisions, owners, and next actions.
  • Promote a culture of ownership, responsiveness, collaboration, and follow-through.

Quality, Delivery & Invoice Readiness

  • Coordinate report build and quality-control activities and verify that required deliverables are complete before release.
  • Partner with technical owners to resolve data, agronomic, or report-quality issues efficiently.
  • Authorize or confirm final delivery and ensure reports and supporting materials reach the correct customer contacts.
  • Provide Finance with complete, accurate, and timely notice that contractual billing milestones have been achieved.

Operational Excellence & Scalability

  • Establish standard work, stage definitions, service expectations, and controls for the RFV delivery process.
  • Use workflow data and operating metrics to manage backlog, throughput, cycle time, quality, and capacity.
  • Identify recurring failure points and lead practical process, system, and automation improvements.
  • Support volume and resource planning by translating the active pipeline and committed work into capacity needs.

Measures of Success

Delivery: On-time milestone and report delivery; end-to-end cycle time; aged work in process; backlog visibility

Quality:  First-pass QC rate; rework and exception trends; completeness and accuracy of final deliverables

Customer Experience:  Timeliness and clarity of status communication; issue resolution; customer feedback

Operational Control: Sampling and data-collection progress; handoff reliability; schedule adherence; capacity visibility

Financial Handoff:  Timeliness and accuracy of invoice-ready notification after contractual milestones are achieved

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in operations management, service delivery, project execution, customer implementation, or a related role coordinating complex, multi-step work.
  • Demonstrated success driving results across cross-functional teams and managing multiple customer commitments at once.
  • Strong operational judgment, prioritization, problem-solving, and follow-through.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, including the ability to deliver clear customer updates and direct internal accountability conversations.
  • Ability to lead with urgency, remain composed under pressure, and make decisions when information is incomplete.
  • Proficiency with CRM, project or workflow management, reporting, and standard productivity tools.
  • High attention to detail while maintaining focus on overall throughput and customer outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in agriculture, agronomy, precision agriculture, environmental services, professional services, or another field-based service operation.
  • Experience coordinating soil sampling, field operations, laboratories, data preparation, analytics, or technical report delivery.
  • Experience establishing operational KPIs, standard work, dashboards, and continuous-improvement routines.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, agriculture, engineering, or a related field; equivalent practical experience considered.
