We’re looking for a Retention Marketing Associate to help drive and execute our suite of Retention campaigns that deepen loyalty to the Huckberry brand. One major responsibility is managing the production of the cult-favorite Huckberry Newsletter, which sends to our community of 1M+ 3x per week. Each newsletter is chock-full of the best gear, brands, content, and diversions on the globe that day.

You will work closely with Go-To-Market and a dedicated Creative team to ensure that each newsletter features the right product merchandising for the right time with a distinctly Huckberry point of view, and A+ creative. Other projects include producing triggered emails, SMS, and direct mail print campaigns. The ideal candidate is a total gear nerd who brings proven project management rigor, sharp organizational skills, and a track record of driving cross-functional deliverables on tight deadlines.

  • Partner closely with eCom Go-To-Market and Merchandising to source product selection, align on positioning, and ensure channel merchandising balances company initiatives with customer demand
  • Serve as the central point of contact for campaign feedback, streamlining edits from key stakeholders and campaign managers from initial planning through product launch
  • Own recurring reporting across email and SMS campaigns, leveraging customer insights and seasonal merchandising trends to surface learnings, identify opportunities, and inform future campaign strategy
  • Partner with the Retention Marketing Manager to design and execute A/B tests to optimize performance and deepen customer engagement
  • Identify bottlenecks and establish scalable systems/workflows that improve launch efficiency, creative delivery schedules, and cross-team alignment

Requirements
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in email marketing, digital merchandising, or lifecycle operations
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multi-channel production schedules, track cross-functional deliverables, and hold creative/merchandising partners accountable to deadlines
  • Strong, clear communicator comfortable acting as the bridge between creative, merchandising, and marketing stakeholders
  • Hands-on experience with top-tier ESPs and SMS platforms (e.g., Klaviyo, Bluecore, Attentive, or similar)
  • High proficiency with project management and workflow tools (Airtable experience is a major plus)
  • Proficiency with Google Suite (primarily Google Docs and Sheets)

Benefits
  • Medical, Dental, Vision benefits
  • 401(k) and employer match
  • Annual Huckberry shopping credits
  • Paid Sabbatical leave at 4 years
  • Summer Fridays
