The Revenue Accountant owns the accuracy and completeness of depository revenue and related inventory activity. The role focuses on sales reporting and reconciliation, with responsibility for ongoing inventory verification at depository locations. Strong communication and relationship‑building skills are essential to establish confidence with business partners and keep teams aligned. This position requires strong attention to detail, proficiency in managing sizable data arrays, and capacity for working independently in a remote environment.

What you’ll do here:

  • Ensure accurate reporting of depository sales and returns in accordance with US GAAP (ASC 606), including calculation and posting of associated commission entries.

  • Own the end‑to‑end depository revenue lifecycle, tracing transaction flow across SAP and RAR (our third‑party revenue processing platform) for sales, returns, commissions, and inventory, and reconciling activity to depository statements to resolve exceptions with clear root‑cause documentation.

  • Serve as a key contributor to month‑end close, independently preparing and supporting accruals and adjustments, reconciling balances, and partnering with Finance to resolve questions.

  • Perform perpetual inventory reconciliation for depository locations, investigating quantity and valuation differences.

  • Align with Finance partners and SAP support teams to resolve issues, improve data integrity, and build trust through accurate reporting, transparency, and diligent follow‑through.

  • Develop and maintain sales, returns, and reconciliation reporting, using Excel, Power Query, and standard templates to support management insight.

  • Follow control procedures, maintain audit‑ready documentation, support audits, and pursue process improvements and automation.

  • Build analytical models to identify trends in activity and perform ad hoc analysis to support business decisions.

Skills you will need here:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.

  • 2+ years of experience in revenue, inventory, or reconciliation‑focused accounting roles, with exposure to US GAAP revenue recognition (ASC 606).

  • Strong Excel skills (PivotTables, XLOOKUP, complex formulas) and comfort working with large data sets.

  • Working knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP S/4HANA, with an understanding of end‑to‑end transaction flow.

  • Experience with financial reporting and accounting systems and reconciliation tools.

  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, capable of identifying exceptions, determining root cause, and developing practical solutions.

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across Finance, Operations, IT, and business teams.

  • High attention to detail, strong ownership approach, and ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
