iM Responsible For…
- Being a contributing member of the team responsible for the financial integrity of the company's revenues, deferred revenue, accounts receivables, and unbilled revenue.
- Applying ASC 606 and company policies to determine proper revenue recognition for SaaS subscription, Professional services, Partner revenue share as well as usage-based models.
- Collaborating with Legal, Partner Management, and Revenue Operations to clarify contractual language and ensure compliance.
- Reviewing incoming revenue reports received from partners and assess for reasonableness.
- Maintaining accurate records of partner revenue share calculations and allocations in NetSuite.
- Assisting in monthly financial close activities, including reconciliations and analysis.
- Performing internal audit on revenue arrangements.
- Assisting in implementing tools or workflows for better contract and revenue management.
- Preparing detailed reports for internal stakeholders and partners on revenue performance using Salesforce.
- Supporting audits and providing documentation as needed.
iM Qualified Because I Have…
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting.
- 2-5+ years of professional accounting experience in revenue recognition, preferably in a technology company.
- Familiarity with revenue recognition requirements under US GAAP.
- A strong understanding of invoicing processes.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite Applications with advanced knowledge of Excel.
- Exceptional analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- NetSuite ERP & Zone Advanced Billing experience.
- Familiarity with multi-currency, multi-subsidiary accounting systems.
- Prior audit experience.
