In this role, you'll get to :

• Play a key role in project management of the design and implementation of various revenue-related systems and processes.
• Coordinate and build strong relationships with the Engineering and Finance Systems teams.
• Develop an understanding of Revenue Operations and systems relied upon by the Revenue Accounting team to identify improvement opportunities and evaluate automated solutions.
• Manage changes and updates to revenue and upstream billing systems in order to support growth and expansion of the business.
• Collaborate with the revenue team to ensure system related accounting requirements are in alignment with ASC 606 revenue recognition rules and consistent with operational needs.
• Communicate and present project updates to the stakeholders both internally and cross-functionally.
• Develop end-to-end process documentation for revenue systems and related key controls to ensure completeness and accuracy of revenue accounting data.
• Assist in ad hoc month end close activities and audit requests.

We would expect you to have:

• 5+ years of work experience, including operational and system implementation experience
• A degree in Finance or Accounting and are pursuing CPA
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work cross functionally at various levels within a company, as well as with external auditors
• Experience working with revenue and accounting applications (Oracle and Revpro are a plus)
• Ability to liaison between Revenue and Finance Systems teams to coordinate project kick-offs, stakeholder meetings, and drive projects to completion.
• A passion for building strong relationships with your team members and working with stakeholders across the organization through a variety of mediums.
• Experience working for a fast-paced SaaS organization
• Excellent Excel skills (Database & SQL experience a plus)
• A strong work ethic and the ability to adapt to rapid business changes that accompanies a high-growth environment

Compensation
At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $126,000 - $168,000
Zone B: $113,400 - $151,200
Zone C: $104,600 - $139,400
This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
