About the Role 

A-LIGN is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Sales Compensation Analyst to support the administration, calculation, reporting, and execution of the company's sales compensation programs. As a member of the Revenue Operations team, the Sales Compensation Analyst will be responsible for supporting monthly commission processing, auditing compensation data, resolving commission inquiries, maintaining compensation documentation, and assisting with compensation plan administration. This role will partner closely with Sales, Finance, Revenue Operations, and Salesforce teams to ensure commission calculations are accurate, timely, and aligned with established compensation plans. The ideal candidate is highly organized, process-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working with large datasets while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality.

Responsibilities 
  • Support the administration and execution of sales compensation programs and incentive plans across the organization
  • Calculate, validate, and audit monthly commission payouts to ensure accuracy and compliance with compensation plan guidelines
  • Partner with Finance to reconcile commission calculations and support the timely processing of commission payments
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of compensation plans, commission rules, and related sales processes
  • Review Salesforce data and other source systems to ensure data accuracy and completeness for commission calculations
  • Investigate and resolve commission discrepancies, payment questions, and compensation-related inquiries from sales team members
  • Manage and respond to Salesforce commission case requests, ensuring service level expectations are met
  • Prepare recurring commission reports, audit reports, and compensation summaries for Revenue Operations and leadership teams
  • Support annual compensation plan rollouts by maintaining documentation, updating commission models, and assisting with testing and validation activities
  • Collaborate with Revenue Operations, Sales Leadership, Finance, and Salesforce administrators to improve compensation processes and data quality
  • Identify opportunities to streamline commission administration, automate manual processes, and improve reporting efficiency Assist in maintaining compensation policies, procedures, and training materials to support plan understanding and adoption
  • Support ad hoc compensation analysis, reporting requests, and special projects as needed
Minimum Qualifications 

EDUCATION 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or another analytical field

EXPERIENCE 

  • 2-4 years of experience in Sales Compensation, Revenue Operations, Financial Analysis, Sales Operations, or a related analytical role
  • Experience supporting commission calculations, reporting, or compensation administration preferred
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce and an understanding of CRM data structures and reporting
  • Experience analyzing and validating large datasets with a strong focus on accuracy and detail
  • Familiarity with sales incentive compensation programs and commission processes
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookup functions, formulas, and data manipulation techniques
  • Experience working with commission management platforms, reporting tools, or sales performance software is preferred

  • Proactive self-starter with the ability to work independently and execute assigned responsibilities with minimal oversight
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities and deadlines
  • High level of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential compensation and employee information
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on operational excellence, accuracy, and customer service for internal stakeholders
