Sales Development Team:

The team plays a vital role in the growth of our sales pipeline. We work closely with sales and marketing to identify new opportunities, penetrate targeted accounts, and qualify sales meetings.

Our Sales Development Specialist is focused on managing all inbound requests while our Sales Development Representatives focus on outbound prospecting with well thought out emails, LinkedIn messages, and phone calls. Our ideal candidate is comfortable with rejection, is confident connecting on the phone, and can be creative in their approach to capture the attention of our future customers. 

This role will encompass research, phone prospecting, email writing, collaboration, time management, and thorough communication. You will be tasked with making meaningful connections with marketing and eCommerce leaders in some of the largest brands and retailers in the world. 

Key Accountabilities:

1) Lead & Appointment Generation:

  • Directly responsible and accountable for producing qualified meetings between prospects and sales representatives
  • Maintain strong relationships with Sales Representatives and work together to target key accounts 
  • Build relationships with decision makers to identify business needs

2) Internal Communication:

  • Facilitate communication between Marketing and Sales, particularly to help improve the lead-qualification criteria, process, and tools
  • Maintain complete and accurate records of all activity in Salesforce.com
  • Continually improve the quality of our database by updating records to ensure accurate account and contact information
  • Share your successes with team members and proactively find new ways to secure meetings

3) Continuous Learning & Professional Development:

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all PowerReviews’ product offerings through marketing materials, enablement resources, and best practices
  • Stay current on industry trends and maintain knowledge of competitors’ product offerings
  • Proactively learn new sales techniques and prospecting methods in order to set yourself apart

Qualifications & Preferred Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent sales related experience
  • Comfortable making calls and handling rejection
  • Strong written communication skills are a must
  • Organization - it's critical to maintain organization around your activity and schedule your day to be effective
  • Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit and a positive attitude
  • A strong interest and excitement for technology and a career in sales
  • Experience using Salesforce.com and LinkedIn Sales Navigator are pluses
