The company leverages marketing automation and behavioral scoring to identify ‘warm leads’ and ideal customers.  As an SDR you will be leveraging this technology along with multiple data sources to identify sales ready opportunities.  Your sales team will also work with you to develop a strategic territory plan that you can use to uncover new opportunities in high impact areas.

This is a position that includes ongoing learning and exposure to sales techniques and methodology aimed at giving you a foundation to eventually move into an enterprise sales role.  We are looking for hunters with a quick wit and a strong will to win.
**This position is targeting people in an ET, MT or CT timezone.

What do we offer you as an SDR?

  • Go as far as you can: Generous Base + Monthly commission program (without a cap)
  • Receive ongoing coaching sessions / exposure to field sales
  • Enroll in sales training and continuing education opportunities
  • Attend industry events
  • Attend weekly sales meetings & forecast reviews
  • Make an impact. Help Higher Ed and other 501(c) organizations to achieve operational efficiencies and collaborate community wide.

What will your day look like?

  • Research and identify potential accounts; solicit new accounts; build rapport
  • Provide evaluation / technical information to prospects; prepare discovery documentation
  • Interface with marketing to nurture and engage marketing qualified opportunities
  • Actively manage territory & identify top targets
  • Work with field sales to schedule appointments
  • Accomplish department and organization goals by accepting ownership for territory

Who are we looking for?

  • You are self-motivated with a high degree of presentation, organizational, and communication skills.
  • You can effectively communicate and elicit feedback on sales calls.
  • You are relentless and driven – you can self-motivate.
  • You enjoy researching opportunities and trying various sales tactics to get ‘in the door’.
  • You can engage and nurture early stage leads to active sales opportunities.
  • You can think on your feet.

What do you need to start as an SDR?

  • College degree – typically in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Marketing / Communications, Psychology or other related program.
  • Some sales experience in the software/tech industry (1-3+ years) in various capacities.
  • Proficiency in basic computer programs (Excel, Word, PPT) – exposure to CRM systems a plus.
  • If you believe you would add value but don't meet all the criteria we've laid out, we'd still love to hear from you.

What does this role pay?

The wage range for this role contemplates the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including (but not limited to) skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At TeamDynamix, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $50,000 to $60,000 plus an uncapped monthly incentive. A member of our People Operations team can discuss compensation with you further should you be asked to complete a phone interview.
