As a BlackCloak Sales Development Representative, you’ll be responsible for generating pipeline for a dynamic, successful revenue team. You will develop both meetings and pipeline from your outbound efforts, working marketing leads, and responding to inbound inquiries - all meant to drive pipeline and top line revenue. You will also be charged with working alongside successful account executives on opportunities - both to ensure a win and to develop your own sales skills. If you are driven and drive results, you will have a lot of potential for career growth and promotion into a quota-carrying role.

You should be results-driven and enjoy building something from scratch, especially developing a territory in a new product category. If you are naturally curious with an eagerness to learn, you will thrive on this high-performance team.

What you will do

  • Excel at prospecting and lead qualification.
  • Drive a minimum of 16 meetings-occurred per month, earning additional compensation when you surpass this number
  • Keep your outreach activity levels high to drive success 
  • Provide sales support on active opportunities including but not limited to research, account planning, and quoting.
  • Learn and use sales tools to drive efficiency.
  • Capture data and metrics for insights into improving the lead qualification and sales processes.
  • Provide metrics and reporting on what’s working for pipeline creationTrain and mentor sales development representatives as assigned.
  • Collaborate with the Corporate Account Manager and Client Success teams as needed to drive account satisfaction, renewals, and expansions.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What you need to be successful

  • Minimum 4 years total work experienceAssociates degree or bachelor of science, preferred
  • More than 1 year successful experience in a sales, business development, or lead qualification and prospecting role
  • Proven ability  to generate leads, identify opportunities, and qualify them.
  • Knowledge of the MEDDICC qualification methodology preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skillsExperience using a CRM and a sales automation system preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, geographically dispersed organization
  • Travel regularly (when safe) to represent the company at events.
