About Abacus

Abacus is an invitation-only wealth technology platform and modern command center built for clarity, continuity, and connection. Designed by former family office and private banking executives, Abacus replaces clunky legacy systems with a single, elegant interface-offering AI-driven insights, relationship mapping, estate clarity, digital document orchestration, and institutional-grade reporting.

Our platform feels less like buying software and more like joining a private club. We serve ultra-high-net-worth individuals, families, RIAs, multi-family offices, private wealth advisors, and institutional consultants who face complex challenges across bank accounts, collectibles, private equity, venture capital, real estate, and direct operating businesses- while also requiring seamless access to trusted estate attorneys, accountants, and exclusive investment opportunities.

We serve you like your private club- delivering a premium experience- but happen to provide you a critical technology product.

Role Overview

We are hiring a SDR to join our founding GTM team. This is a high-impact role where you will be responsible for creating pipeline, driving outbound prospecting motions, and shaping the future of Abacus’s GTM engine in partnership with executive leadership. You will be the first interaction many highly sophisticated prospects have with Abacus. Credibility, professionalism, and consistency are essential.

What You’ll Do

Outbound Prospecting & Pipeline Generation

  • Run daily cadences to RIAs, MFOs, private wealth advisors, and UHNW networks
  • Research accounts, personalize outreach, and identify triggers
  • Qualify prospects and schedule qualified meetings for Account Executives & CRO

Market Engagement

  • Learn the wealth-management ecosystem deeply—custodians, reporting systems, workflows
  • Speak confidently about Abacus’s value proposition, differentiators, and use cases

Sales Process & Discipline

  • Maintain impeccable CRM data hygiene
  • Execute sequenced outreach using email, phone, and LinkedIn
  • Track metrics daily: meetings booked, conversion, pipeline progression

Collaboration

  • Work closely with CRO on messaging, scripts, and GTM strategy
  • Provide feedback to improve processes, product positioning, and market clarity
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to help be VoC.

What You Bring

Required

  • 1–3 years of SDR or BDR experience in SaaS, fintech, wealth tech, regulated industries, or fundraising from ultra-high net worth
  • Proven success in outbound environments
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to speak confidently to sophisticated audiences
  • High motivation and ownership mindset
  • Ability to learn complex products quickly
  • Professionalism, discretion, and integrity

Preferred

  • Experience selling to RIAs, family oƯices, private wealth teams, or financial advisors
  • Experience using Salesforce, HubSpot, or other CRMs
  • Financial literacy or comfort with wealth management concepts

What We Offer

  • Competitive compensation package (base + commission + performance paths)
  • Opportunity to join the ground floor of a fast-growing wealth tech platform
  • Direct mentorship and career evolution
  • Mission-driven leadership team and culture
  • Exposure to founders, investors, and senior executives

Success in This Role Means

  • Signing 5 to 10 new customers a month
  • Running disciplined outreach cadences
  • Maintaining exceptional communication and professionalism
  • Becoming a trusted front-line brand voice of Abacus
