You’ll leverage tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Salesforce to research target prospects, gather contact information, and initiate meaningful outreach. This role is ideal for a proactive, tech-savvy individual passionate about starting conversations that lead to transformative sales opportunities in the life sciences industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect Identification: Use LinkedIn Sales Navigator and other tools to research and identify target prospects within pharmaceutical and biotech life sciences companies, ensuring alignment with our ideal customer profile (ICP), such as research directors, procurement leaders, and R&D teams.
  • Lead Qualification: Qualify inbound leads from marketing campaigns and outbound prospects to ensure high-quality handoffs to Account Executives and Account Directors.
  • Outreach Execution: Conduct personalized outreach via cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn InMails to engage prospects, and analyze performance of efforts to identify improvement opportunities.
  • CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of prospect interactions and pipeline progress in Salesforce, ensuring data integrity and timely follow-ups.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and sales teams to align on target accounts, refine messaging tailored to the pharma and biotech sectors, and optimize lead generation strategies.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about trends, challenges, and innovations in the pharmaceutical and biotech life sciences industry, such as regulatory requirements or R&D pain points, to tailor outreach and improve conversion rates.
Qualifications
  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in sales, lead generation, or a related role (experience in SaaS and life sciences highly preferred).
  • Tool Proficiency: Hands-on experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator and prospecting tools to identify and gather contact information for target prospects in the pharma and biotech sectors.
  • CRM Skills: Familiarity with Salesforce for tracking leads and managing pipelines.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling, personalized outreach messages that resonate with life sciences stakeholders.
  • Research Skills: Strong ability to conduct market and prospect research to identify decision-makers (e.g., R&D directors, procurement managers) and understand their pain points in advancing scientific research.
  • Mindset: Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with measurable goals (e.g., meetings booked, qualified leads).
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, life sciences, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with email automation tools to streamline outreach campaigns.
  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical and biotech life sciences industry, including familiarity with R&D processes, supplier relationships, or regulatory environments.
  • Comfort with cold calling and handling objections to secure meetings with high-level decision-makers in life sciences organizations.
