The Sales Director will be responsible for driving new business and managing relationships with key enterprise clients in North America. This role requires a strategic thinker who can understand client needs, develop tailored solutions, and close high-value deals. This is a dynamic role that combines a partnership-focus with our largest partner, Shopify, with direct selling acumen. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in agency sales, a deep understanding of our industry, strong Shopify, SalesForce Commerce Cloud, or Magento knowledge, and the ability to build strong, long-lasting client relationships.
RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Client Acquisition & Relationship Management: Identify, target, and engage with key enterprise clients. Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with decision-makers.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet or exceed revenue targets. This includes prospecting, qualifying leads, presenting solutions, and negotiating contracts.
  • Tailored Solutions: Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., strategy, creative, engineering) to develop customized solutions that meet client needs and align with their business goals.
  • Client Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to clients, showcasing the agency's capabilities and value propositions.
  • Account Growth: Manage and grow existing client accounts, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional services.
  • Market Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to inform sales strategies and provide clients with relevant insights.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Monitor and report on sales performance, client engagement, and market trends. Use data to drive decision-making and optimize sales strategies.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.


SKILLS & EXPERIENCE


  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in ecommerce sales, ecommerce solutions, business development, or account management, preferably within an agency or platform.
  • Proven Success: Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, particularly with enterprise-level clients.
  • Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the agency's industry, including key trends, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Relationship-Building Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients at all levels.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and creatively to solve complex business problems and deliver value to clients.
  • Presentation Skills: Strong presentation and negotiation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM software, sales analytics tools, and digital communication platforms.
