About Overwatch Mission Critical
Overwatch is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOB), certified through the National Veterans Business Development Council (NVBDC). We provide construction professional services, talent acquisition, and general contractor support for the mission-critical infrastructure industry.

Our mission is the construction and management of state-of-the-art data centers with the precision and reliability this industry demands. From high-end engineers to seasoned professionals, we deploy the talent you need to bring your data center online—safely, efficiently, and on time.

At Overwatch, it's more than a job. It's a purpose.

Role Overview

The Sales Director is responsible for originating new client relationships, expanding strategic accounts, and acting as the primary executive-level relationship owner. This role is focused on front-end sales, opportunity creation, and client strategy—not candidate onboarding or day-to-day fulfillment.

Once a client need is identified, the Sales Director “quarterbacks” the engagement by aligning internal teams and partnering closely with Account Managers, who manage requisitions, candidate presentation, onboarding, and ongoing delivery.

This is a relationship-driven, market-facing role ideal for a senior seller who thrives on opening doors, building trust, and positioning staffing solutions at the executive level.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development & Market Expansion
· Identify, pursue, and establish new client relationships within the data center ecosystem
· Drive top-of-funnel activity through prospecting, referrals, networking, and industry presence
· Position the company as a trusted staffing partner for staff augmentation and project-based needs

Client Relationship Ownership
· Serve as the primary relationship owner for assigned accounts and strategic prospects
· Build and maintain relationships with Directors, VPs, and C-suite stakeholders
· Understand client business objectives, project timelines, and workforce challenges

Opportunity Quarterbacking
· Qualify opportunities and clearly define client needs, expectations, and success criteria
· Collaborate with Account Managers to transition active requirements for execution and fulfillment
· Stay engaged throughout the lifecycle of the relationship to ensure alignment and client satisfaction

Internal Collaboration
· Work closely with Account Managers to prioritize opportunities and support candidate placement efforts
· Provide strategic context and client insight to recruiting and delivery teams
· Ensure clear communication between sales, account management, and leadership

Market Leadership & Brand Presence
· Represent the company at data center and mission-critical industry events
· Stay informed on market trends, labor dynamics, and client buying behaviors
· Contribute to go-to-market strategy, account planning, and sales best practices

Typical Roles Supported
· Construction Managers
· Safety Managers
· MEP Managers
· Design Managers
· Commissioning Managers
· Program & Project Leaders

Qualifications:

Required
· 7+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in staffing, staff augmentation, or professional services
· Experience selling into data center, mission-critical, construction, or infrastructure markets
· Proven ability to open new accounts and build executive-level relationships
· Strong consultative selling and discovery skills

Preferred
· Prior experience in a hunter or relationship-owner sales role
· Familiarity working alongside Account Managers or delivery teams in a pod-based or handoff model
· Existing network within the data center or mission-critical construction space

Benefits:
Overwatch Construction offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, paid time off, and relocation assistance available.

OVERWATCH is committed to creating a diverse work environment and is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer. OVERWATCH considers candidates regardless of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or veteran status.
