Job Description

As a Sales Order Coordinator, you will play an integral role in entering and managing customer orders. We work closely with multiple departments to manage the complete order lifecycle – from entry to delivery and billing. These orders may be sourced from our local stock or via PO sourcing to our vendors. Coordinators process orders submitted by our sales team as well as our E-Commerce website. They are responsible for ensuring all details are correct. The Sales Order Department also operates as a live call center, serving as a primary point of contact between our customers, sales team, and operations.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Order entry & processing of Ecommerce orders
  • Logistics planning for daily deliveries
  • Field calls from contractor/customer base from our Call Center requesting information, product selection or order placement
  • Monitoring orders entered and maintaining backlog
  • High volume professional email correspondence and order confirmations
  • Investigating and resolving order discrepancies and issues
  • Maintain a working knowledge of various equipment lines and coordinating accessories

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

  • High School Diploma and/or at least 2 years of administrative, coordination, or order processing experience exceptional customer service
  • Extensive knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, & Outlook)
  • Great attention to details and problem-solving abilities
  • Phenomenal teammate who is flexible and adaptable
  • A self-starter with strong work ethic with strong critical thinking skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while keeping details correct

 

Preferred Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

  • Associate’s degree and/or 5 years of administrative, coordination, order and project management experience.
  • Knowledge of HVAC, distribution, procurement and supply chain a plus.

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
General office environment
Requires seating for extended amounts of time, manual dexterity for working with computer keyboards.

 

Job Location

Tinley Park, IL

Full Time – Mon – Fri (8:00am – 5:00pm/9:00am – 6:00pm)

One Rotating Saturday shift (8:00am to 12:00pm) Approximately once every 6 weeks

Salary Expectations

Pay Range: $20.00 - $24.00
