Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Must be insurable according to Lynch insurance requirements.
- One-year-related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Conduct test drives with customers to showcase vehicle features.
- Negotiate pricing and terms with customers to reach mutually beneficial agreements.
- Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
- Maintain relationships within assigned territory and make personal sales calls at a customer’s location to maximize sales success; at least three full business days a week. This position will require one floor day a week at the office in Alsip, Illinois.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of sales opportunities by regularly spending time outside of the office making sales calls, and following up on generated quotes.
- Utilize Microsoft CRM for proper managing of accounts and contacts. All communications and business interactions must be documented weekly and with specific details in CRM. Specific details include: all sales calls made to customers, appointments, follow-ups, quotes, and any other business conducted.
- Coordinate service work such as PDIs, miscellaneous add-ons and/or repairs with the service department.
- Coordinate with the Finance and Insurance Departments, providing accurate information and paperwork to assist in obtaining customer financing and insurance.
- Self-generate prospective truck warranties, maintenance, contract maintenance, and telematics sales. Take the initiative to identify the customer's overall business needs, and not just transportation needs.
