The Sales Support Rep-I assists the Account Sales Representative in maximizing sales and customer service while managing inventory and building displays.
This position is accountable for assisting the Account Sales Representative in producing maximum sales and distribution of draft and/or package products and providing quality service to all customers on an assigned route.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Fill in for the Account Sales Representative when needed and/or to supplement the Account Sales Representative’s effort in implementation of approved Company programs and policies that will result in achievement of sales volume and merchandising goals while effectively presenting the Company’s brands to the retailer and the consumer
- Learn and master the Structured Sales Processes to effectively mirror the efforts of the Account Sales Representative in monitoring and controlling inventory levels for each account to provide maximum availability of products while maintaining quality control and freshness standards
- Develop and maintain strong, productive relationships with all customers to facilitate sales
- Maintain current knowledge of all supplier brands and packages, pricing information, and promotional/marketing activities

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- High School diploma/GED
- Valid Driver’s License
- Driving record acceptable to the Company
- Proof of automobile insurance
- Highly self-motivated and able to work hours as required (weekends, nights, and holidays)
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal liquor laws
- 2-5 years of related experience
