We work with over 3,000 sellers of used machinery, connecting them with thousands of qualified buyers and accelerating the sale of their equipment.

After 6 years of tremendous success in the industry, we created our second product, MachineryHost. An all-in-one software SaaS solution designed specifically for machinery dealers. It includes a front-end website and storefront as well as backend tools for managing inventory and customers. MachineryHost is quickly becoming a leader in the industry by helping our customers sell more and be more efficient. We’re looking for the right person to have a massive impact on this new venture.

The Position

The Account Executive position on the MachineryHost team is critical to the growth of our company and to the revolution we are leading in the machinery industry. MachineryHost is a new product and you have the opportunity to come in on the ground floor with unmatched potential to grow our business and in your career. We’re looking for people that are hungry to succeed, eager to hustle, earn, and that are collaborative and proactive.

You will have the opportunity to work with an international team representing over 12 nationalities and help businesses in over 190 countries. With headquarters in Chicago, Berlin, and teammates all over the world, this role offers the unique opportunity to disrupt a $400 billion industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish relationships with business owners and C-level executives.

  • You're a consultant: understand their business, their growth potential, and their challenges so you can present a solution that helps them achieve their goals.

  • Conduct screenshare demos, leverage phone calls and email to sign up new customers.

  • Improve processes, features, strategies and etc. You’re coming in on the ground floor of a very promising product with high visibility.

Preferred experience (but not required):

  • At least 1-2 years of success in inside sales or account management, preferably with a SaaS company.

  • Driven and willing to think strategically and creatively to get the job done.

  • Organized and focused on daily goals.

  • Business acumen, negotiation skills, and “able to get a deal done.”

  • Excellent phone skills. Able to “talk with anyone about anything.”

  • Good grasp of technology and learn an ever-evolving product inside and out.

  • Eager to make an impact as one of the 1st sales hires for a promising product with a green field of opportunity.

Compensation

  • Base salary + generous uncapped commission structure (unlimited earning potential).

  • Health + dental benefits available post-trial.

  • Unlimited PTO / Vacation and approved Work From Home days post-trial.
