ReviewTrackers is currently looking for a passionate, self-motivated, and collaborative Sales Engineer to join our Sales Team. The Sales Engineer will lead, formulate, drive and execute strategic sales strategy to increase and drive revenue growth. You will be an influencer and expert with in-depth technical knowledge of company products, systems and services. You will build consultative relationships at all levels in midsize and enterprise businesses, whilst personally creating new relationships, opportunities and partners across organizations. What you will be working on:

  • Manage prospects from lead to close by working directly with customers to understand their business operations and provide product prescriptions that add value to their organization through implementation of ReviewTrackers products. 
  • Thoroughly understand all aspects of the ReviewTrackers platform in order to explain the technology to all types of users. Possess a deep, up-to-date understanding of the entire ReviewTrackers and partner solution suite.
  • Solution complex use cases and explain them in layman’s terms to prospects. Determine the requirements of clients’ projects and programs by defining, analyzing, and managing requirements to help fulfill clients’ needs. 
  • Use in-depth product knowledge to provide technical expertise to the customer through sales presentations, product demonstrations, and questionnaires.
  • Be the prospect’s trusted advisor to ensure they get the correct value out of ReviewTrackers.
  • Serve as a thought leader and resident expert on product questions, technical integrations, success stories and general industry knowledge for the sales team and clients.
  • Work closely with our most strategic prospects’ technical and security teams.
  • Run and implement a 30-60 day pilot program. 
  • Complete RFPs and questionnaires in the context of sales cycles.
  • Contribute reusable assets to the Sales Engineering team and the company at-large.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Marketing, Product Management and Engineering to learn how to sell our solutions and give feedback from the field.
  • Contribute to documentation of best practices and other supporting materials for marketing-driven technical content repository and the creation/set-up of demo environments across our suite of integrations.
  • Clearly articulate and demonstrate our value proposition, creating excitement and enthusiasm among prospects.
  • Maintain weekly sales forecast and achieve quota quarterly.

 

Who you will be working with:

  • You will be reporting directly to the Senior Account Executive as your manager
  • You will be working regularly with the Senior Sales Manager who manages the full outbound sales team
  • You will work closely with another Sales Engineer to be trained during ramp period 

 

What you bring to the table:

  • Previous experience in a customer facing role 
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales goals (President’s Club, Rep of the Year, etc.)
  • You leverage a ‘business first lens’ across to drive strategic transformation and deliver solutions to clients
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience identifying business challenges, presenting solutions and implementing change to business leaders
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced dynamic environment 
  • Self-motivated critical thinker with an entrepreneurial spirit

Location

Located in The Loop, our Chicago headquarters is a quick walk to public transportation options such as the CTA and Metra. We're close to Millennium Park as well as a variety of trendy restaurants and shopping venues. Our team is mostly remote, but our office is open to local and visiting employees!
