As a Solutions Consultant, you will play a key role in supporting our new business efforts to help drive revenue growth. Working with our Sales and Account Management teams, you will use your technical expertise to influence customer decisions by providing them with product demonstrations and insight, and crafting custom solutions to fit our customers’ needs.

What will you be doing in your shiny new role?
 

  • You will support the Business Development team in our Pre-Sales process, including: opportunity qualification, product demonstrations, Proof of Concept presentations, and assisting with RFP responses. 
  • You will collaborate with people across business functions and levels, including Marketing leaders, executives, and technical decision-makers.
  • You will serve as our subject matter expert on DialogTech's suite of products, including third-party Adtech and Martech partners with whom we integrate.
  • You will participate in business requirements gathering with our customers and prospects.
  • You will help write detailed business and technical requirements documents, including outlining the scope of work for implementation projects.
  • You will provide partner and customer feedback to our product management and engineering teams to influence the product roadmap.
  • You will act as a technical authority for our Customer Success Team, and be our go-to person around DialogTech solutions.
  • You will research current industry market trends and changes to industry technology, and conduct competitive analysis.
  • You will travel occasionally (~25% monthly) to client sites for pre-sales solution proposals and product demonstrations.

 

What skills and experience will help you succeed in this role?
 

  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree or have equivalent related work experience.
  • You have 4+ years of professional experience with background in pre-sales and sales, developing strategies, and growing a business, preferably working with SaaS products.
  • You can present technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • You have led multiple, simultaneous projects across departments.
  • You understand the sales process / cycles and sales methodologies.
  • You have knowledge of common digital marketing tools.
  • You can collaborate across teams and departments.
  • Your presentation skills demonstrate technical proficiency, digital marketing knowledge, and strong business and interpersonal skills.
  • You are able to assess customer requirements, identify business problems, and demonstrate proposed solutions to customers.
  • You have experience with one or more solutions from the list below:
  • Web Analytics
  • Call Analytics or Call Tracking
  • Paid Search/Social Bid Management
  • Display Marketing
  • Data Management Platforms
  • Demand or Supply Side Platforms
  • Tag Management 
  • Content Optimization (Multivariate) Testing

 

What are some other “nice-to-have” skills that will make you stand out?
 

  • You have prior experience with digital ad purchasing, sales, or delivery.
  • You have worked within the SaaS and/or digital marketing industry, and understand current market trends.
  • You are familiar with the marketing ecosystem, including the most common pieces of a Martech stack and the functions they serve (ad serving and bid management platforms, DMPs, DSPs, tag managers, etc.).
  • You possess knowledge of DialogTech’s platform and software solutions or similar call-tracking and call-attribution platforms.
  • Your skill set includes a working understanding of:
  • Digital Marketing Vendor Installation, Management and Troubleshooting;
  • Mapping complex data flows;
  • CRM software (e.g., Salesforce);
  • JavaScript, event handling, HTML, and CSS concepts;
  • REST, SOAP, and other API formats; and
  • the differences between online and offline data, and how data are stored.
