Shiftgig, one of Chicago’s hottest and fastest growing technology companies and we're actively seeking an Strategic Account Executive to support our incredible growth.  The Strategic Account Executive will be responsible for building strategic relationships with named accounts, client development, and retention strategies. The successful candidate will  have previous staffing industry experience and work with the client success team to develop key quarterly and annual client forecast and targets; they will participate in setting individual goals, objectives, budgets, and quotas that support Shiftgig’s long-range strategic objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and develop strategic relationships within your book of business of named accounts

  • Build account plans for your enterprise-level accounts to understand key decision makers, org charts, current investment, tech adoption and new revenue opportunity

  • Understand where the regional and local opportunity exists in each account and work closely with your Client Success Manager and Account Executives to coordinate a strategy for expanding the account

  • Create reliable forecasts and be transparent with management on the pipeline status

  • Run a quarterly business review with all your key clients to understand their key company initiatives, review tech adoption, provide key updates on Shiftgig, and sell solutions that will address key corporate initiatives

  • Grow the revenue from your accounts through upsell and by identifying/closing new locations

  • Plan out your activities and meetings to ensure you are focused on your largest opportunities

  • Use Salesforce.com every day for tracking activities, and pipeline and forecast reporting

  • Work to create and evolve the set of best practices that will be the foundation of this team

  • Listen to the needs of the market and share insights with product and marketing teams

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5-8 years relevant, enterprise sales experience

  • Ability to participate and play a key role on a client success team

  • Possesses an entrepreneurial mindset and a roll-up-the-sleeves work ethic

  • Demonstrating track record of identifying, prospecting, closing, and developing strategic clients

  • Willingness to work in a fast-moving, dynamic company culture and industry

  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
