Designs Apex, LWC, Flow, SOQL/SOSL, and middleware solutions; manages platform governance, observability, resilience, licensing, and compliance. Produces technical documentation, mentors teams, and supports enterprise data exchange and statewide public health programs.
We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer to lead development, support, optimization, and modernization of a large-scale Salesforce platform supporting statewide public health programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced Salesforce support, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, performance tuning, and security remediation.
- Design and develop solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, SOQL/SOSL, and advanced Salesforce configuration.
- Manage integrations and APIs using MuleSoft or similar middleware and ensure reliable enterprise data exchange.
- Lead CI/CD, DevOps, testing, code reviews, environment promotion, and release management across Dev/QA/UAT/Prod.
- Implement Salesforce security, governance, encryption, identity, audit, monitoring, and compliance controls.
- Manage sandbox strategy, observability, performance, backup/DR, and platform health.
- Create technical documentation, architecture diagrams, runbooks, and process flows.
- Train and mentor internal Salesforce teams and support knowledge transfer.
- Optimize Salesforce licensing, platform usage, scalability, and cost.
Required Skills:
- 11+ years enterprise application development.
- 7+ years Salesforce development.
- 5+ years Apex, LWC, Flows, SOQL/SOSL, and advanced configuration.
- 5+ years supporting large, complex, secure Salesforce environments.
- 5+ years API/integration architecture, middleware, and enterprise data exchange.
- 3+ years security, identity governance, encryption, and auditability.
- 3+ years CI/CD, automated testing, DevOps, and environment management.
- 3+ years technical architecture/documentation.
- 3+ years Salesforce licensing and platform optimization.
- Strong communication, training, and mentoring skills.
Highly Desired:
- Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer II, Experience Cloud Consultant, Integration Architect, or Identity & Access Management.
- Public-sector, regulated-environment, or statewide modernization experience.
- Experience with observability, secure cloud integrations, SRE/resilience, and performance benchmarking.
