The SAP FICO Consultant will support financial processes, provide technical configuration, and lead client sessions, ensuring effective communication and risk management.

At Syskoplan Reply we are seeking an SAP FICO Consultant to join our team. You should be fluent in SAP Financials modules (FI/CO) with an eagerness and willingness to learn new technologies. You will have or are working towards CPA qualifications and have a sound understanding of financial close, consolidation process, and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Act as a business consultant to help customers achieve their objectives by being an excellent communicator who understands the importance of communication in a consultant's role
- Problem solve with an extraordinary technical and functional understanding of Accounting Principles along with SAP products
- Support end users from a functional and/or technical perspective and work closely with end users and business partners to analyze and review their business requirements or processes
- Troubleshoot and configure SAP FICO including integration points with other modules and cross functional design/build of other modules. Working on multiple projects as a project team member or team lead
- Lead fit/gap and other types of working sessions to understand needs driven by business process requirements. Translate requirements into solutions, using SAP Best Practices
- Prepare clear and concise documentation, as well as provide timely status updates
- Proactively identify risks and develop strategies to mitigate potential issues. Assess corporate impacts of changes and recommend strategies to senior management
- Provide knowledge transfer to clients and fellow consultants, in formal and ad hoc settings
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Applicants for employment must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the United States (i.e., H1-B visa, F-1 visa, STEM OPT)
- Travel up to 50%
- 5 years of SAP FICO experience with a detailed understanding and experience with financial closing and consolidation.
- Strong accounting/finance background
- Experience in the project lifecycle from requirements gathering, solution design, realization, testing, go-live preparation, and execution, as well as hyper-care
- Proficient in the business processes associated with financial operations, which includes expertise in general ledger accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, asset management, cost center accounting, and profit center accounting
- Hands-on SAP Analysis for Office experience
- Hands-on S/4HANA experience, including use case of standard Fiori applications
- Exceptional analytical and conceptional design thinking skills
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA
- Strong knowledge and experience of financial closing and consolidation processes
- Basic knowledge of Group Reporting

The base compensation range for this full-time position is between $110,000 - $130,000 plus benefits. Compensation decisions are supported through market data, where regional variances may exist based on cost of labor. We also take into consideration prior experience, relevant skills, education and/or training, certifications and, as applicable, other required qualifications.
