Scrum Master / Project Manager
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the Scrum Master for a feature team, facilitating all Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Coach team members on Agile principles and practices, ensuring adherence to Scrum methodologies.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring clarity and alignment on user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Remove impediments and obstacles that may hinder the team's progress, fostering a culture of problem-solving and accountability.
- Monitor team performance metrics and provide insights to drive continuous improvement in processes and delivery.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between team members, stakeholders, and other teams to ensure alignment on project goals and objectives.
- Support the team in achieving their commitments and maintaining a sustainable pace of work.
- Promote a culture of innovation and experimentation within the team, encouraging the exploration of new ideas and technologies.
- Act as a servant leader, empowering team members and fostering a positive team environment.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment, preferably with cloud-based projects.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum and Kanban.
- Proficient in using the agile project management Azure DevOps (ADO) tool.
- Excellent facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across teams and stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent) is preferred.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies and platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
- Proven ability to guide teams, programs, and work streams towards a cohesive set of objectives.
