We are seeking an experienced Sales Development Manager to build, scale, and lead a high-performing outbound sales development function within a fast-growing B2B SaaS environment. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who excels at creating pipeline generation strategies, coaching SDR teams, and driving predictable revenue growth through outbound prospecting and event-driven engagement.

You will be responsible for establishing scalable outbound processes, partnering with marketing and sales leadership, and ensuring consistent pipeline creation across target accounts. The role requires a balance of strategic thinking, operational excellence, and hands-on execution.


RequirementsKey Responsibilities
  • Build and scale a high-performing outbound sales development function focused on generating qualified pipeline opportunities.
  • Lead, mentor, and coach SDRs to achieve individual and team performance goals.
  • Design and optimize outbound prospecting strategies, messaging frameworks, and multi-channel engagement campaigns.
  • Develop and execute account-based outreach programs targeting key decision-makers and enterprise prospects.
  • Partner closely with field marketing teams to maximize pipeline generation from industry events, conferences, and campaigns.
  • Manage pre-event prospecting, event engagement, and post-event follow-up activities to drive conversion opportunities.
  • Establish and refine SDR processes, playbooks, KPIs, and performance metrics.
  • Monitor pipeline health, forecast generation targets, and provide accurate reporting to leadership.
  • Utilize sales engagement and CRM platforms to improve outreach effectiveness and team productivity.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and revenue operations teams to align pipeline generation efforts with business objectives.
  • Analyze campaign performance and continuously optimize outbound strategies based on data and market feedback.
  • Lead by example through direct involvement in prospecting, messaging development, event participation, and customer engagement.
  • Ensure consistent execution standards and accountability across the sales development organization.
What Makes You a Great Fit
  • 8+ years of experience in sales, business development, or sales development, including at least 2 years managing SDR teams.
  • Proven track record of building outbound pipeline generation programs from the ground up within a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Experience selling into MSP, IT services, infrastructure, or technology-focused markets is highly desirable.
  • Strong expertise with modern sales tools such as Outreach, Salesloft, Salesforce, HubSpot, ZoomInfo, Apollo, or similar platforms.
  • Demonstrated success collaborating with field marketing teams to generate pipeline through events and industry conferences.
  • Strong coaching and leadership capabilities with a passion for developing high-performing sales professionals.
  • Ability to create scalable sales processes, playbooks, and performance frameworks.
  • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills and a focus on measurable business outcomes.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-growth environments where processes are still being built and refined.
  • Willingness to travel regularly for customer meetings, industry events, and business development activities.
  • Strong ownership mentality with the ability to balance strategic planning and hands-on execution.
