Wells Fargo is seeking a Secured Lending Underwriter within our Commercial Banking team.

In this role, you will:
  • Participate in the partnership with the Underwriting team on all aspects of new business transaction process
  • Perform financial analysis, calculate financial covenants, and prepare financing memorandum within Secured Lending Underwriting
  • Review basic issues, policies, or procedures where answers can quickly be obtained related to low to medium risk and deliverables
  • Receive direction from Secured Lending Underwriting supervisor and exercise independent judgement while developing understanding of function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Required Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of Secured Lending Underwriting experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • Inventory Finance experience
  • Commercial Banking Underwriting experience
  • 2+ years of secured lending experience
  • B.A. degree or equivalent, in Accounting, Business, Finance or Economics
  • Experience in Finance or Asset-Based lending
  • Accounting and finance knowledge
  • Proficient in MS Office: PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
Job Expectations:

  • Hoffman Estates - Illinois Pay Range: $96,000-$154,000 annually (this range may not be applicable to other locations)
  • Charlotte - North Carolina Pay Range: $87,000-$140,000 USD annually (this range may not be applicable to other locations)
  • Irving - Texas Pay Range: $87,000-$140,000 USD annually (this range may not be applicable to other locations)
