How You Will Make an Impact
- Prospect for new business and sell bundled Internet, voice and video solutions to small and medium-sized businesses within your assigned territory
- Provide subject matter expertise in product, systems and sales process knowledge, regularly mentoring Account Executives and supporting team development
- Implement territory plans designed to expand Spectrum Business's customer base and generate new sales leads from initial contact through closing
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, utilizing Salesforce.com and other tools to maximize territory potential
- Ensure all sales orders, contracts, billing forms and reports are accurate and submitted promptly, collaborating with Account Coordinators as needed
- Demonstrate advanced selling skills and strong product knowledge, practicing and sharing sales techniques with the team
- Meet and exceed department performance standards following the Spectrum Way Sales Model
- Attend and actively participate in sales meetings and ongoing training

What You Will Bring to Spectrum
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field, or equivalent experience
Experience
- 2+ years sales experience or 2+ years in telecom or technical industry
Skills
- Read, write, speak and understand English
- Strong desire for company growth and team development
- In-depth knowledge of communications technologies with emphasis on telephone and Internet fundamentals
- Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record
Preferred Qualifications
Experience
- 3+ years outside sales experience in a high transaction, short closing cycle environment
- 1+ years as an Account Executive at Spectrum with a documented track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Business-to-business sales experience
