About the Role

If you're an experienced healthcare communications professional with a passion for scientific publications and building trusted client relationships, we'd love to hear from you.

As a Senior Account Manager, you'll lead the delivery of strategic publications programs for one or more pharmaceutical clients. Acting as the primary client contact, you'll oversee publication plans from concept to execution, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Working closely with scientific, editorial, and operational teams, you'll help clients achieve their communication objectives while driving account success.

Here's What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead day-to-day management of one or more publications accounts, acting as the primary client contact.

  • Oversee the delivery of publication plans, including manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and congress deliverables.

  • Build strong client relationships, providing proactive guidance and strategic support.

  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and financial performance to ensure successful delivery.

  • Collaborate with scientific, editorial, and production teams to deliver high-quality publications.

  • Identify opportunities to grow accounts and contribute to new business activities.

  • Support and mentor junior team members while promoting best practices across the team.


About You

  • 5–7+ years' experience in medical or healthcare communications, with a strong focus on scientific publications.

  • Strong understanding of publication planning and the pharmaceutical industry.

  • Proven experience managing complex publications programmes and client relationships.

  • Confident managing project budgets, timelines, and multiple priorities simultaneously.

  • Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Bachelor's degree in a life sciences or related discipline, or equivalent experience.

  • Collaborative, proactive, and committed to delivering exceptional client service.

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. This range may differ based on your experience and skill set, geographic location, and cost of living considerations. We consider compensation more than just a base salary – that’s why we also offer an exceptional range of flexible benefits, personal support and tailored learning and development opportunities all designed to help you realize your full potential both in life and at work.
Compensation
$85,000$110,000 USD
