Position Overview:

The Senior Account Manager is dedicated to scaling ZURU's Gumi Yum confectionery brand into retail across the USA, including all future NPD. The role drive account strategy & ownership across grocery, dollar/discount, club & specialty channels, owns ZURU's US broker partnership, and works daily with the Global Commercial Team..

Position Impact:

The role owns listings, retail execution and promotional excellence across all channels. Success at 6 months: ZURU's US candy broker embedded and working to a clear account framework, with Gumi Yum submitted in full for every range review. At 12 months: Gumi Yum listed and trading across priority grocery and specialty accounts, with repeatable distribution gains.
Key Responsibilities:

  • New distribution & listings – Secure listings across grocery, specialty and unattended channels; submit in full, on time, for every range review.

  • Broker management – Lead ZURU's US candy broker day-to-day; set priorities, targets and the framework to convert their network into distribution.

  • Range review readiness – Own the P&L for key opportunities; prepare sell decks and pitch materials for every line review and merchandising window.

  • Commercial & trade execution (4Ps) – Win feature, display and shelf presence through pricing and promotion.

  • Account selling – Lead retailer pitches and negotiations to open new accounts.

  • Cross-functional collaboration – Connect broker, merchandising, supply and internal teams to close distribution gaps quickly.

  • Innovation launch – Land the Gumi Yum innovation pipeline into US retail.

Skills & Experience:

  • 6+ years in Sales in US confectionery or impulse FMCG.

  • US grocery track record: new listings, distribution growth, retailer relationships.

  • Experience managing a broker or agency network to deliver distribution outcomes.

  • Trade execution across pricing, promotion, display and the 4Ps; P&L understanding.

  • Right to work in the US; based in or able to relocate to Minneapolis or Bentonville.
