This is an exciting opportunity to join us in our mission to help carers carry on caring. You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations, executing both day-to-day accounting processes and month-end close. You’ll also have the opportunity to oversee revenue operations and drive analysis on financial data, while collaborating cross-functionally and working with our clients.
This fully remote role reports to our Director of FP&A and candidates are required to reside in the United States. This role requires legal authorization to work in the United States. EngagedMD is unable to sponsor current H1B visa holders for this role.
What You’ll Do
- Execute month-end accounting close processes in a timely manner and ensure financial records are in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), revenue recognition best practices, state and federal laws and regulatory requirements
- Contribute to the development of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting decks and provide ad-hoc reporting and insights to support decision-making
- Generate and review monthly customer invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
- Manage revenue operations through internal systems, including ticket triage and issue resolution
- Respond to customer and internal billing inquiries via shared inboxes
- Maintain and analyze recurring billing reports to support revenue accuracy and visibility
- Process accounts payable through Brex and manage bank feed transactions
- Support month-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations and variance review
- Partner with external firms to support domestic and foreign income tax filings and compliance requirements
- Continuously improve related processes and serve as system owner for relevant systems
What You’ll Bring
- 2-4 years of relevant experience working in either corporate accounting, revenue operations or public accounting
- Exceptional proficiency with Quickbooks, Excel and Google Sheets
- CPA eligible / some CPA exams passed is highly preferred, active CPA is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent experience

- Ability to thrive in a small, fast-paced organization

- Have SQL knowledge and proficiency
- Have experience working in a SaaS or healthcare
- Have Big Four public accounting experience
- Have experience migration from Quickbooks to another ERP
- Have successfully worked remotely with distributed teams in the past
