Blue Acorn iCi is looking for a Senior AEM Front-End Developer with strong expertise in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and modern front-end technologies. This role will contribute to the delivery of enterprise digital experience solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams including architects, designers, and business stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have deep experience building front-end components within AEM, strong JavaScript fundamentals, and familiarity with Edge Delivery Services (EDS). This role requires someone capable of providing technical guidance on EDS implementations, understanding its capabilities, and helping shape best practices within the client environment.

The candidate should also be comfortable joining an active project mid-stream, quickly ramping up, and contributing effectively within an established delivery team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain front-end components and templates in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).

  • Implement responsive and performant UI components using modern JavaScript and web technologies.

  • Work closely with UX, architecture, and backend teams to implement scalable digital experiences.

  • Provide guidance and thought leadership around Edge Delivery Services (EDS), helping define best practices for implementation.

  • Evaluate how EDS capabilities align with client constraints, such as internal design systems or component libraries.

  • Contribute to front-end architecture decisions and implementation strategies.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure solutions meet both technical and business requirements.

  • Quickly ramp up on existing codebases and delivery workflows when joining projects mid-cycle.

  • Ensure adherence to coding standards, performance best practices, and accessibility guidelines.

Required Qualifications
  • Strong experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) development.

  • Excellent JavaScript skills (plain JavaScript / modern ES6+).

  • Strong working knowledge of Web Components and modern front-end frameworks.

  • Experience building reusable components within AEM.

  • Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.

  • Experience collaborating with design systems or component libraries.

  • Ability to quickly ramp up and contribute to projects already in progress.

  • Strong communication skills and experience working in consulting or client-facing environments

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Adobe Edge Delivery Services (EDS).

  • Understanding of EDS architecture and implementation patterns.

  • Experience integrating EDS with existing AEM environments and design systems.

  • Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern development workflows.

  • Experience working within enterprise-scale Adobe Experience Cloud implementations.
