The Senior Analyst will develop and support business applications, analyze processes, gather requirements, and enhance reporting capabilities for operational efficiency.
The Senior Analyst – Business Systems is responsible for developing, deploying, and supporting business applications that automate manual processes and enhance reporting capabilities. This role partners closely with business stakeholders to identify opportunities, gather requirements, and deliver scalable technology solutions that drive operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze business processes, gather business and technical requirements, and identify opportunities for automation and improvement
- Design, develop, test, and support solutions using .NET, SQL, and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and enhance existing applications and databases (SQL Server)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions and ensure data accuracy and system reliability
- Create test cases and support QA processes using tools such as Zephyr
- Utilize tools like JIRA and Confluence to manage work, documentation, and project tracking
- Provide ad-hoc reporting and data insights to support business decision-making
- Lead initiatives and effectively engage stakeholders across multiple levels of the organization
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, MIS, Data Analytics, or related field
- 4–6 years of experience developing and implementing business systems and technology solutions
- 3–5 years of experience gathering business and technical requirements
- Experience with .NET, SQL, and RPA tools (e.g., UI Path, MS Power Automate)
- Experience with pricing, SPA, or replacement cost applications required
- Familiarity with Unified Sales Desk platforms preferred
- Experience with testing tools (e.g., Zephyr) and workflow tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) preferred
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data analysis skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Experience in project management, software implementation, and working within cross-functional teams
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to travel up to 25%
