The Role
We are looking for a Senior Analyst of Marketplace Business Operations to quarterback our marketplace health with a pulse on week-to-week and month-to-month trends across our platform. ● Create growth strategies based on data-driven market analysis; collaborate cross-functionally to drive growth strategies forward
● Design operational tests and experiments with clear hypotheses and measurement methodologies for metro teams to execute
● Analyze test results to provide tactical recommendations for market-specific improvements
● Develop market prioritization frameworks to guide resource allocation across our supply acquisition and retention efforts
● Partner with metro development teams to translate market analysis into specific operational action plans
● Collaborate with supply onboarding teams to identify data-driven opportunities to improve activation and initial host success
● Work closely with data analytics and data engineering teams to leverage existing data frameworks while applying them to operational contexts
● Create standardized approaches to evaluating market health and operational efficiency at the market level
Qualifications
● 4-6 years of experience in business operations, analytics, or strategy roles with a focus on data-driven decision-making
● Strong SQL skills and data analysis capabilities, with ability to work independently on analytics projects within an operations context
● Experience designing experiments and tests with clear measurement methodologies
● Strong background in analyzing marketplace dynamics and market-level performance trends
● Track record of translating data insights into tactical operational recommendations
● Ability to detect patterns in complex data and connect them to marketplace behavior
● Excellent communication skills with ability to influence through data storytelling
● Experience working collaboratively across operations and data teams
● Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in a relevant field preferred
Preferred Qualifications
● Prior experience in two-sided marketplace businesses, particularly in operations or business operations roles
● Experience with BI tools such as Sisense (Periscope), Tableau, or Looker
● Background in market-level analysis and operational improvement strategies
● Familiarity with experimental design and A/B testing frameworks
● Experience applying data insights to operational challenges in a high-growth environment
