The Senior Product Analyst - Workday Expense Opportunity
Reporting to the Director of Finance Technology, this role will serve as the Workday subject matter expert for the Expense module and help drive day-to-day support and long-term enhancements across Workday Finance. You will lead configuration and continuous improvement, partner with stakeholders to solve pain points, and ensure scalable, accurate, and well-tested solutions as Workday evolves.

What you’ll be doing

  • Serve as the Workday SME for the Expense module, providing day-to-day support, troubleshooting, and resolving issues
  • Configure and maintain Workday Expense, including business processes, security, data flows, and administrative tasks
  • Lead design, testing, and deployment of Expense solutions using Workday best practices
  • Partner with business stakeholders and COEs to gather requirements, improve processes, and drive adoption
  • Build and maintain reports and dashboards to support domestic and international finance operations
  • Support Workday releases and upgrades by evaluating new functionality, coordinating testing, and implementing enhancements
  • Create and maintain clear end-to-end business requirements and provide functional design leadership
  • Deliver hands-on training and contribute to internal enablement across cross-functional teams

What you’ll bring to the role

  • 5+ years of Workday Product Analyst experience with 3+ years of hands-on Workday Expense configuration and support
  • Deep expertise in Workday Expense configuration, including Business Process Configuration, Security Administration, and EIBs
  • Proven functional knowledge of the Expense module, including delivered functionality and report utilization
  • Strong testing experience across unit, regression, UAT, and pre-launch validation for new features and enhancements
  • Experience balancing day-to-day system support with longer-term enhancement projects and related integrations
  • Hands-on experience building and optimizing custom reports and dashboards in Workday or similar SaaS/enterprise platforms
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills in fast-paced, cross-functional environments
  • Experience using Agile workflows and tools such as ServiceNow and Jira

And extra credit if you have experience in any of the following!

  • Workday Studio, Workday Extend, and developing custom integrations
  • Workday HCM experience (understanding of worker/org data and cross-module impacts)
  • Experience customizing Workday Expense functionality and expanding into platforms such as Oracle Fusion Cloud or SAP
  • Track record of driving automation and process optimization through workflow enhancements and reporting insights

The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in the San Francisco Bay area is between:
$128,000$176,000 USD

Below is the annual base salary range for candidates located in California (excluding San Francisco Bay Area), Colorado, Illinois, New York and Washington. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies. The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in California (excluding San Francisco Bay Area), Colorado, Illinois, New York, and Washington is between:
$114,000$157,300 USD
