Senior Android Developer (Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, Flow, Multiplatform)

Rewrite Android base into a Kotlin Multiplatform solution and develop a high-quality Android POS app using Jetpack Compose. Implement responsive UIs (Compose Multiplatform, Material 2/3, Atomic Design), integrate REST APIs (Retrofit/Ktor), use DI (Dagger/Hilt/Koin), Room, Coroutines/Flow and MVVM/MVI patterns. Collaborate with designers, product manager and team, debug, optimize performance, and follow Agile practices to deliver maintainable scalable code.
We are seeking a skilled Senior Android Developer to join our NRS Team!
In this position, you will be responsible for rewriting the Android base code into a multi-platform solution using Kotlin Multiplatform technology.
Primary location - Minsk, Belarus!
Requirements:
- Minimum 7 years of commercial experience as an Android Engineer
- Excellent knowledge of Kotlin
- Kotlin Multiplatform is a must
- Deep knowledge of Jetpack Compose is a must
- Proficiency in Material 2/3 and Atomic design
- Deep knowledge of Coroutines & Flow
- Understanding of MVVM / MVI patterns
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs (Retrofit or Ktor libraries)
- Experience with Dagger/Hilt or Koin
- Experience with Room (or another database)
- Fluency in English
Primary responsibilities:
- You collaborate with the Designer, Product Manager, and your Development Team to deliver the next-generation Point of Sale (POS) system
- Develop high-quality Android native POS application with all their complexities
- Ability to learn fast and ready to make a big impact
- Experience working with Agile software development methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Design and implementing UI using Compose Multiplatform
- Collaborate with UI/UX designer to implement intuitive and responsive user interfaces
- Developing new functionality using Kotlin
- Integrate APIs, third-party libraries and services
- Ensure the optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application
- Debug and resolve software defects and technical issues
- Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code following best practices
