Job DescriptionThe Senior BI Analyst – Marketing DTC is responsible for driving a data-first culture within the Direct-to-Consumer marketing team. This role focuses on delivering actionable insights and advanced analytics to optimize e-commerce performance and marketing campaigns across digital channels. The analyst will leverage expertise in Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and campaign attribution to measure and improve customer acquisition, engagement, and retention. Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, deep knowledge of DTC marketing metrics, and the ability to collaborate across marketing, e-commerce, product, and engineering teams. This position will be hybrid at the Deerfield office.
Position Location: This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule (3x per week) based out of Deerfield, IL. Effective fall 2025, Fortune Brands will transition to a new world-class campus in Deerfield, bringing together associates from across our U.S. offices, brands, and functions. The campus will offer vibrant workspaces for collaboration, along with amenities for dining, onsite daycare, fitness and recreation.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the subject matter expert for all DTC marketing data, reporting, and attribution across paid, owned, and earned channels.
- Build and maintain advanced dashboards and scorecards to monitor e-commerce KPIs (conversion rate, AOV, CAC, ROAS, LTV) and campaign performance.
- Implement and manage tracking strategies using Google Tag Manager and ensure accurate data collection across all digital touchpoints.
- Analyze campaign performance and customer behavior to identify optimization opportunities for acquisition and retention strategies.
- Design and execute A/B and multivariate tests to improve conversion rates and marketing ROI.
- Partner with marketing and e-commerce teams to define success metrics for campaigns and product launches.
- Provide actionable insights on channel performance (paid search, social, email, affiliate) and recommend budget allocation based on data.
- Collaborate with data engineers to ensure seamless integration of marketing data into analytics platforms.
- Translate complex data into clear, compelling stories for leadership and non-technical stakeholders.
- Champion a culture of continuous testing, learning, and innovation within the DTC marketing team.
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Analytics, Marketing Science, Computer Science); Master’s preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in marketing analytics with a focus on e-commerce or DTC channels.
- Advanced proficiency in Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager, and campaign attribution modeling.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.).
- Proven ability to analyze large datasets and synthesize insights to drive marketing decisions.
- Expertise in e-commerce KPIs and marketing funnel reporting (conversion rate, AOV, CAC, ROAS, LTV).
- Hands-on experience with A/B and multivariate testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with paid media platforms (Google Ads, Meta Ads) and their reporting ecosystems.
- Excellent communication skills to present insights to leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, data-driven environment with a focus on continuous improvement.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $85,000 USD - $110,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
