The Global Brand & Creative team within Marketing is responsible for our brand and marketing creative. From building brand awareness campaigns to designing experiences like Dreamforce, our multi-faceted team does it all. We are a collection of designers, copywriters, strategists, PMs, and more, whose sole purpose is to bring the brand to life across our incredible portfolio of work.

The Brand Strategy & Management team is in charge of the brand insights, brand strategy, creative strategy, and brand management that powers the Global Brand & Creative team and Salesforce as a whole. We advocate the power of brand across the organization, guide brand marketing activities, and ensure brand excellence. 

About this role

With the launch of Agentforce, continuous product acquisitions, and the build-out of Operating Units, our leadership is emboldening its teams to go big and go fast. To keep up, it is our top priority to ensure that our global teams and partners have the brand foundations and enablement resources they need to act as brand ambassadors.

We are looking for an experienced Sr. Brand Manager to play a key role in elevating the Salesforce brand and drive brand management, brand enablement, and brand governance. You will shape the brand’s success by building the systems for brand support, delivering enablement to empower employees and agencies, and ensuring consistent execution across all touchpoints. 

This role will report into the Head of Brand Strategy & Management and work in close collaboration with teams across Global Brand & Creative to identify the key brand needs, support wider business objectives, and align stakeholders across Product Marketing, Digital, Events, Sales, Corporate Strategy, and beyond.

What you will do

  • Develop the processes to build brand in everything we do at Salesforce, and empower Marketing to build on-brand programs and assets

  • Create and deliver enablement on brand standards, brand messaging, and best practices – including communication, cadence, and distribution

  • Establish tools and systems to empower global teams to deliver on-brand work seamlessly and efficiently, e.g. Canva

  • Oversee all aspects of brand execution (e.g. alignment with strategic intent, messaging, visual and verbal expression) and monitor brand usage to ensure consistency across all channels. 

  • Serve as a brand advocate and point of contact for internal teams, providing guidance and support on brand-related inquiries

  • Manage relationships with external agencies to ensure high-quality work and alignment with brand objectives

  • Partner with Brand Strategy & Brand Creative to develop and maintain comprehensive brand guidelines, toolkits, and resources to ensure consistent brand application across all internal and external stakeholders

  • Partner with Brand Strategy & Brand Creative to support the evolution of the brand, defining the roadmap for development and delivery including training, communications, and assets

  • Partner with Ops to consolidate various brand review processes to create a single, streamlined resource for brand support and consultation

  • Partner with Legal to ensure brand compliance and protection

  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports and recommendations for optimization

What experience you have

  • 10+ years experience in brand management, including brand enablement and governance; with 3+ years in enterprise technology or B2B

  • Experience managing and implementing company rebranding efforts, with a solid understanding of the complexities and change management involved

  • Experience in developing and implementing brand enablement, comms, documentation and governance programs

  • Skilled at change management and aligning to shifting business priorities

  • Experience and success supporting brand-related M&A activities

  • A strong grasp of the creative process from experience working with creative teams and external agencies

  • Proven ability to explain the importance of brand consistency and enforce brand standards

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, provide constructive feedback, and collaborate effectively across all levels, geographies, and functions of the organization

  • Excellent organizational skills, project management, and attention to detail, especially when managing multiple time-bound and budget-bound projects simultaneously

  • Experience with brand management software and digital asset management systems; AI-based tools a plus

  • Experience in developing brand managers and teams

  • BA/BS degree

For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $155,400 to $213,800.
