Position Summary
The SAP Business Analyst partners with business and technology teams to identify needs, define requirements, and support the delivery of effective solutions that improve processes and business outcomes. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to translate business needs into actionable requirements, and experience working across cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of relevant experience, is comfortable operating in a complex environment, and can help drive clarity, alignment, and execution across stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements
  • Translate business needs into clear functional requirements, process flows, and user stories
  • Facilitate discussions across business and technical teams to align on scope, priorities, and solutions
  • Support requirements traceability, solution validation, and testing activities
  • Identify opportunities to improve business processes, workflows, and operational efficiency
  • Communicate recommendations, risks, dependencies, and status updates clearly to stakeholders
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure solutions meet business objectives and user needs
  • Support change adoption by helping stakeholders understand impacts and required process changes

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to gather and document business and functional requirements
  • Experience working across cross-functional teams, including business and technology stakeholders
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of what a PBM does
  • Experience leveraging AI in day-to-day work to improve efficiency, analysis, or decision-making
  • Experience supporting process improvement, systems implementation, or transformation initiatives
  • Demonstrated familiarity with SAP ERP

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$83,430.00 - $203,940.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
