We’re seeking a Business Development Manager to expand our Player Support business across North America. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building relationships, identifying opportunities, and crafting solutions that improve how studios care for their players. You’ll work closely with delivery, marketing, and leadership teams to bring Side’s services to new clients and deepen relationships with existing partners.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive Growth: Identify and develop new business opportunities for Player Support, Community Management, and LiveOps solutions across the North American games market.
  • Build Relationships: Engage with decision-makers at publishers, developers, and live service operators to understand their needs and present Side’s capabilities with authority and insight.
  • Strategic Outreach: Lead targeted outreach campaigns using CRM, social, and event-based strategies to expand Side’s footprint among AAA, AA, and indie studios.
  • Full Sales Cycle Ownership: Manage the end-to-end sales process from prospecting and proposal through contract negotiation and onboarding partnering closely with delivery teams to ensure smooth transitions.
  • Market Intelligence: Track industry trends, competitor activity, and evolving studio needs to refine Side’s positioning and offerings.
  • Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams globally to build cohesive client solutions and long-term account strategies.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

  • 7+ cumulative years of b2b sales or account management experience
  • Minimum 3+ years selling or delivering Player Support, Community, or LQA/QA services. sales across Player Support, Community Management, CX, in game services exclusively.
  • Proven success closing deals and achieving revenue targets within the gaming or digital entertainment industry.
  • Deep understanding of live service operations, player lifecycle management, or outsourced service delivery.
  • Strong professional network within the gaming industry particularly among producers, live ops managers, and player experience leaders.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with comfort engaging senior stakeholders.
  • Self-starter mindset with the ability to work remotely and travel as needed for client meetings or events.
  • Passion for video games and a strong understanding of how studios engage and retain players.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in co-development, localization, or tech services for games.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, pipeline management, and KPI forecasting.
  • A collaborative, people-first approach aligned with Side’s belief that great games start with great partnerships.
